Phenomenal Bulino engraving print from 1680. The front depicts the ''All Saints Adoring the Holy Trinity'' on the back you can find a page from an old Latin missal. References are made to 'Festa Novembris' (November celebrations) and 'Officium Defunctorum' (service for the deceased). The text compares the four beatitudes of Luke with the eight of Matthew.

A loose translation:

Bile be healed. For first one must be healed, that by gradually advancing virtues he may ascend to the mountain. And therefore he who heals in the lower parts, this is, he withdraws from lust, the injury of blindness and turns it away. He descends to our wounds: that by a certain use and copy of his nature, we may share. May he make us enter the kingdom of heaven. Responsory for the Feria occurring.Go ye poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. Saint Luke has given only four beatitudes for the Sundays, but Saint Matthew has eight, but in those eight there are four, and in four the cardinal virtues are embraced as if they were virtues: he referred to them as the mystical number eight. For many Palms are written for the eighth, and the commandment is to receive eight blessings in proportion to them. For just as the eighth is the perfection of our hope, so the eighth is the mother of virtues. And first let us see what is more extensive.Blessed he says, are the poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. Both Evangelists have placed this as the first blessing. For it is first in order, and the parent of a certain generation of virtues: because he who despises worldly things will merit eternal life: nor can anyone obtain the merit of the kingdom of heaven who, being preoccupied with worldly desires, has no ability to emerge. During Lauds the weekly prayers are said with bent knees, as in the Palatinate 48.Prayer: O God, our God, multiply your grace upon us: and grant to those whose glorious solemnities we have anticipated, joy in their holy profession. Through our Lord.NOVEMBER FEAST, On the first day not obstructed, the Office of the Dead is said.
