Étrennes Spirituelles 1888

Étrennes Spirituelles ("Spiritual Gifts") contains prayers, devotions, and practical religious instructions, this is a compact Catholic prayer companion meant to guide the owner throughout the year. The binding is a celluloid cover with silk satin and gilded edges. On the front is a silver-plated metal applique, a chalice surrounded by vines; a Eucharistic symbolism. Printed in Malines on July 31, 1888. Under bishop Mgr. Du Rousseaux, he was bishop from 1873–1901.
