Framed Bronze Christ
Framed Bronze Christ
Absolute beautiful framed "Face of the Suffering Christ" in bronze. The background is a stunning burgundy velvet in a golden frame. The solid bronze plaque is high quality, very detailed and shows expressive realism. This piece is from the later 18th century, early 20th century (1880s-1920s). The frame is a bit later added to the piece, she is from the shop "Laboratorio cornici Palla e Reginelli'' which opened in 1982, but the name of the back says ''Cornici d'Arte Falla'', who was the predecessor of this shop.
