A beautiful prayer book from 1848 with a black, heavily textured relief plate on the front cover. Portraying the Virgin Mary standing on a cloud crescent with putti/angels, a common motif in 19th-century European art. Contains 4 prints on the inside. Discoloration present on the first and last pages, binding is a bit fragile on the inside. No loose pages or tears.
