Orthodox Amulet

Orthodox amulet to hold devotional items, these serve as portable travel altars or protective amulets for Orthodox Christians. Byzantine inspired artwork, the three little drops hanging from the bottom are decorative pendilia — ornaments inspired by those hanging from Byzantine crowns, lamps, and icons. In Orthodox art they symbolize: honor and sacred beauty, heavenly light and sometimes tears/prayer. The front and back of this amulet has the same artwork.
