Breviarium Romanum, is the traditional Roman Rite liturgical book containing the Divine Office; the daily, public prayer of the Catholic Church. It includes Psalms, hymns, prayers, and readings designed for bishops, priests, and deacons to pray the canonical hours, usually in Latin.

The vintage blue oval ink stamp reads ''Martinot - Verdun Meuse'', Verdun is a commune in the Meuse department in France. Martinot is a local bookshop from the 19th and 20th century.

The binding is quite fragile, the spine still has the original gilded artwork. The first page is missing and the second and third page are loose. All original, no tears or further missing pages. Biggest flaws are photographed. All handwritten notes have been photographed.
