Breviarium Romanum, is the traditional Roman Rite liturgical book containing the Divine Office; the daily, public prayer of the Catholic Church. It includes Psalms, hymns, prayers, and readings designed for bishops, priests, and deacons to pray the canonical hours, usually in Latin.

This is a Summer Volume (Pars Aestiva). Published by Alexander Giroud. The family Giroud held the prestigious official title of "seuls imprimeurs de Sa Sainteté à Avignon" (Sole Printers to His Holiness in Avignon). Officially appointment by the papacy, Giroud was responsible for publishing liturgy.

The binding is quite fragile, the spine still has the original gilded artwork. All original, no missing pages. Biggest flaws are photographed. All handwritten notes have been photographed. Last page is coming loose.
