"Outlines for a Complete Catechetical Instruction for the Benefit of the Clergy", a 19th-century Catholic theological guide specifically written to train and aid clergy in teaching the catechism to their congregations. Volume 2, 2nd edition.

At the time of its publication, the Catholic Church in Germany was focused on revitalizing local parishes. The book provides structural lesson plans, sermon outlines, and educational methods to help priests effectively communicate complex Christian doctrines to everyday citizens, based on a work by the French theologian Benoit Guillet.

The Authors, Dr. Andreas Räss later became the Bishop of Strasbourg. He was a champion of the "Ultramontanism" movement, which advocated for strong papal authority and spiritual renewal across Europe. The second author, Dr. Nikolaus Weis later became the Bishop of Speyer. He was widely recognized for his dedication to religious education, charity work, and improving school systems.
