The Greek inscription on the scroll is from Psalm 34:15: "Οφθαλμοὶ Κυρίου ἐπὶ δικαίους καὶ ὦτα αὐτοῦ εἰς δέησιν" - ''The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayer''.
