Neo-Baroque style Holy Water Font with red velvet backing. The ornate, carved stone cross with dense scrollwork is typical of the late-19th-century revival style. Note, this piece is very heavy, stone items are less likely to survive throughout the years. A stone devotional item is not common to find from this era.
