Beautiful velvet brown pocket prayer book with white cross on the front and gilt pages. Two illustrations on the every pages, one in black and white of Mary & Jesus. The second one is Jesus Christ on the Cross with gold leaf. On the inside was a memorial card for a nun's holy profession. It celebrates the holy profession of Sister Maria Ignatine, born as A. C. Berg. The ceremony took place on February 3, 1931, at the convent of the Franciscan Sisters in Heerlen, Netherlands. There is a chance this prayer book was hers, since these cards were gifted as a commemorate.
