Originally written by Wilhelmus à Brakel (1635–1711), one of the most important theologians of the Further Reformation. Redelyke Godtsdienst/De Redelijke Godsdienst (The Reasonable Religion) first appeared around 1700 and continued to be reprinted for more than a century. It is considered one of the most influential Protestant theological works from the Netherlands. This third part largely deals with the Book of Revelation (Apocalypse) and its interpretation from a Reformed perspective.
